What a metro line status means
A useful status answers three questions: are trains running, which stations or sections are affected, and when was the information updated? A general disruption does not automatically mean the entire M1 or M2 line is closed.
MetroRadar assigns incidents to lines and stations and identifies the source. Community reports are shown separately and may offer an earlier signal that still needs verification.

Check whether the incident affects your journey
Compare your origin, destination and interchange stations with the section named in the alert. If the problem is outside your route, your journey may continue normally.
- Confirm whether the alert concerns M1 or M2.
- Read the boundary stations and direction.
- Check the update time and any replacement transport.
03
Get notified before reaching the station
Save your everyday route and favourite stations, then enable metro alerts. An early notification gives you time to use another station, tram, bus or rail connection.

This page is a guide. Current alerts and update times are available in the MetroRadar app and official WTP announcements.
How do I know an alert is official?
The app labels the source and provides access to the full operator announcement when available.
